M.P.T :
This is a 2-year intensive course, at the end of which the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, awards a degree of Master of Physiotherapy (M.P.T.).
Course Description:
The 2-year course involves intensive training in various healthcare settings. Lectures are based on self-directed learning, with the students presenting their findings and inferences. The students are also expected to shoulder administrative tasks as applicable.
During the 2 years of training, the students finish a mandatory thesis and are encouraged to undertake smaller, individual projects. Students appear for university examinations at the end of the course. On successfully clearing these exams, the students receive a degree of Master of Physiotherapy (M.P.T.).
Admission Eligibility:
The candidate can apply for admission after successfully obtaining a B.P.Th. / B.P.T. degree and clearing the Maharashtra Govt.’s PGP-CET.
Admission Process:
Admissions are centralised through the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Mumbai, under the Maharashtra Govt.
- Candidates apply to this college through the preference forms available on the DMER website after the PGP-CET results are declared.
- Based on their preference, eligible candidates’ names are assigned to the college.
- Candidates confirm their admission by duly filling the college form issued with the prospectus.
- The process is completed with providing the necessary, original documentation to the college.
- Fees are to be paid in full at the time of admission.
- Admissions take place through PGP-CET counselling rounds only, unless specified otherwise by the DMER and/or MUHS.List of required documents:

- Internship Completion certificate.
- P.Th. degree certificate.

- Gap certificate explaining reason for the gap in education.
Course Requirement:
The student should have a drive to have self-directed learning, good analytical skills, an ability to carry responsibility, an empathetic approach to patients, and the aptitude to transfer theoretical knowledge to practical situations safely.
