Being associated with DESBJCOP has been a learning process for both involved. I have seen that the handling of the patients by the students and my staff; and their attitude towards patients, has changed over time, as more of them strive to attain perfection.

It has always been fun to work with the students and interns of DESBJCOP. I hope that with this association and mutual learning, we are, together, able to achieve our goal of providing better clinical outcomes by enhanced and smooth functioning of the department.

D.E.Society’s Brijlal Jindal College of Physiotherapy and Deenanath Mangeshkar hospital, Pune have been in a fruitful association since 2013. Post graduate and under graduate students along with interns have been coming to Deenanath Mangeshkar hospital for their clinical training in various field of rehabilitation.
It has been a pleasure to be working with this institute.

I would credit this to Principal, Dr. Aparna Sadhale, along with her staff, who have always been very receptive and co-operative. They are excellent teachers and devote lot of time with their students when it comes to bedside clinics and teaching. I have observed that they have mastered the skill to put students at ease when presenting case and there is an interactive open discussion with the students and teacher. They also have been vigilant about their students so as to maintain the decorum of the hospital.

I would also like to mention and appreciate that most of the students too, have been eager to learn with a questioning mind. They too behave responsibly so as to maintain the repute of the institute they come from and the institute they come to. I wish all of them a very bright future. We would be happy to have a long association with this institution.

I am really happy to have DESBJCOP as a part of DEIC. Communication with Dr. Aparna ma’am started prior to the posting of students to Aundh Civil Hospital and she was impressed with the newly developed District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC) project.

In the department of Physiotherapy, we treat babies and young children with neurological and orthopaedic conditions at DEIC. The students of DESBJCOP are able to practice different techniques and are able to achieve a good improvement on the patients. The students counsel the parents of these children on a regular basis and also provide home exercises to them. Students of DES put all their efforts and hard work to improve the condition of the patients.

I really thank Aparna ma’am and their staff for sending their students as a helping hand to DEIC (Pune). I wish the students the best for their future.
